So whilst driving through Bristol today I noticed this tree.
It used to be a really nice mature tree nestled in a tight garden and a main road into Bristol.
Unfortunately, today we find it like this.
I have searched and cannot find any planning application for the works either being proposed or granted.
There is a very high chance of this tree now going into decline and never recovering.
The home owner now can be held responsible and liable for these works as well as the contractors responsible, and could potentially face a big fine.
It is our duty as Arborists to know the law and adhere to it.
I think this is a case of the cheapest price won, but in this case it may end up costing a lot more than a couple of hundred pounds.
If someone can prove an application has been applied for and granted i an willing to remove this Blog.
